[Discuss] Installing LINUX OS on USB Stick or external USB HD

If you pick the pendrive for installation then grub should automatically 
get installed there. However, ubuntu, etc. would often use OS prober to 
configure grub in order not to cut you off of your "other" OSes. So, if 
you had your other harddrive plugged in then it's likely that osprober 
will pick it up. However, you can later go in and either remove osprober 
and regenerate the grub config or manually edit grub.cfg to remove the 
entries you don't want.
