More than 120,000 Students Register for Free ‘Intro to Linux’ MOOC
The Linux Foundation and edX, the nonprofit online learning platform launched by Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), recently announced the first-ever ‘Introduction to Linux’ Massive Open Online Course (MOOC).

Previously a $2,400 course, Introduction to Linux will be free to anyone, anywhere, which will increase access to Linux training materials for people all over the world. The demand is so high for Linux knowledge, the course, which isn’t available until this summer, has already received more than 120,000 registrations.
