The Nigerian phishing etc is probably just due to your email client not
filtering i.e. its lost is memory of the that type of phishing email.
You may have accidentally changed the filters. Another possibility is
that the authors of the email are getting smarter and changing their
email addresses and the email subject so as not to activate your email
client's filtering. They get through mine every so often. Your email
client needs to "learn" or re-learn to block those phishing emails. Shaw
will also alert you to some scams and phishing in some cases by
modifying the email's subject, so you then have to mark them as scams
for your email client to learn.

Not sure what you mean by Shaw locking up your account. What did they
say to you? What did they do?
