The file  /etc/zfs/exportsexists but it is 0 bytes in length = has 
nothing in it.

I notice that in my NAS-Server.LOCALDOMAIN kernel log messages it says:
 > nfsd: can't register svc name
 > nfsd: can't register svc name

Could this be the root of the problem, and if so, how do I fix it? NFS 
Service is turned on.

    | UID numbers will be the next thing to cause you grief. Best to fix this up
    | while you're at it.

Well, I am not sure how to fix the UID issue (since root is 1000 on the NAS Server, it is me on my LINUX boxes and it is my wife on her computer) unless I create a new user on each device with the  UID corresponding to the NAS Server.
