[Discuss] new meetup group VicDev

FYI, there's a new Victoria meetup group http://www.meetup.com/VicDev/ which 
some of you may be interested in joining.

Victoria has for years had either a bunch of programming discussion groups 
specific to a particular technology, or more general tech discussion groups more 
for users than developers, or groups focused on the business side of the tech 
community.

But now there is now at least one local group focused on programming but about 
all technologies, so people who love programming in the general case should find 
a lot more of interest is on topic, while it can still go in deep.

Not since 2006-2009 or so, with the Recreational Computer Science Society which 
met at UVic, was there something like this as that I've been aware of.

Is anyone aware of any other general developer interest groups in the Victoria 
area like this that are currently active?
