[Discuss] Serious error in /usr

Check /etc/fstab for multiple entries for the same partition mount.


It may be that you have the same partition being mounted twice.
One mount has a correct device for mounting and the other has an
incorrect one.

Once you're booted try:

/> mount -a

and see if one of your mounts in fstab complains.

You can also use 'smartctl' to check the status of your drive
if it's aged.
