[Discuss] After many years with KDE, I am about to move on to XFCE

I wonder if your problems are in fact due to Debian/Ubuntu rather than 
KDE? I have been running Fedora KDE spin for a year or so without 
problems and am currently running Fedora 27 and KDE 5.12.5.
