[Discuss] Prepare LUKS for BIOS Update?

Hello,

I have a system with a LUKS encrypted had drive. The system requires a
BIOS update. How do I correctly prepare my system for the update?

I hear there can be problems, for instance with GRUB, preventing booting
after the BIOS update. Online, I have found various discussions on how
to fix that (can be tricky), but none on how to prevent the issue in the
first place.
