Hi Ed,

Yes, just pick a secure name and hope. I sometimes start the session and keep it open with my microphone and webcam turned off. I've never been bumped for being idle too long. You can also set a password for your session but it only lasts until everyone logs out. Then the session name becomes available again, without a password.

I need to setup an online meeting for 7 people and would rather avoid
Zoom completely.  I'm having some trouble figuring out how to do it on
Jitsi since there is no documentation available (just says work in
progress, check back soon).

Do you just pick an obscure meeting name and hope it doesn't get used by
someone else before the meeting time arrives?  Or am I missing something?
