Hi Craig --

The reason I'm looking for a minimal build is not to shoehorn it into an 
underpowered system, but to minimize the attack surface.  A tiny system 
running on a beefy machine is what will be required to achieve decent 
throughput on a deep-packet-inspecting firewall.
