[Discuss] IPv6 question

Hi Ron,

Sorry, this email slipped past me.

The first thing I would do is question the VP provider on why are they 
handing out /112's. This is very much IPv4 thinking. OVH hosting has a 
/32, which means they can give out over 4 Billion /64s (the IPv6 
standard) . I doubt they have more than a few million customers.

The addresses you have listed are all in the same subnet 
(2607:5300:203:b716::1:0). If they are claiming you get 65k addresses, 
then your address range should include the last 16 bits, or 
2607:5300:203:b716::1:0 to 2607:5300:203:b716::1:FFFF But again this is 
NOT the way to do IPv6. Every VM should have at least a /64.
