After the last reboot, my display came up in very low resolution. It looks as if it is no longer properly detecting my video card/monitor, or the drivers have gotten clobbered. I tried to switch drivers, after which it doesn't work at all!<br><br><span>Now when I reboot, the monitor says:</span><br><span> DSUB <br><span> </span>OUT OF RANGE</span><br><span> 75.6KHz - 60Hz</span><br><br><span>I can boot into recovery mode and check disks, etc. (it says everything is OK), and can get into console mode but I don't know what to do next to repair the display system.</span><br>I tried a live DVD of Kubuntu 15.10, and the resolution is bad there as well.<br><br>There does not seem to be much point in doing a fresh install if the live DVD doesn't work properly! Is there anything I should check in the EFI/BIOS? There is not much room for an external video card if there is something wrong with the on-board video. Perhaps I could try installing a different driver, but would not know what to look for.<br><span>Any suggestions would be most helpful.</span><br><br><span>Thanks in advance.</span><br><br><span>Murray</span></body></html>
