Noticed the move to Meetup, specifically the Raspberry PiMakers<br>
group, and that reminds me...<br>

Does anyone know what sort of utility Kodi uses to automount<br>
removable media? I've tried installing a few, but none seem to<br>
work; eventually wrote a script which runs in the background,<br>
checks for new devices every few seconds and mounts them... It<br>
works, but even so, Kodi only notices partitions that were mounted<br>
*before* it started up, not those that are mounted while it's<br>
running.<br>

In the dedicated Kodi distros I've seen, it does this seamlessly,<br>
but I want to run it alongside a regular desktop environment.<br>
<br>
It has no trouble seeing and playing DVDs when they're inserted,<br>
btw, but I don't think it mounts them, just reads directly from<br>
the device [that's how SMPlayer did it].<br>
