I will probably bring my ASUS netbook which is giving me a problem. It is dual boot (Windows 10 and XUbuntu 7.10), recently one cannot see the startup post, nor the boot menu on the built-in screen. If I connect it to a TV with an HDMI cable, I can see those OK. Once it has booted, everything is OK in both LINUX and Windows. I think that the problem is that the back light for the LCD screen is not turning on at boot time, but I am not certain. Anyone else ever see a problem like this?</div><div>Murray</div><div><br></div><div>----- Original Message -----<br>From: Ron De Beck <rdebeck@islandnet.com><br>To: discuss@vlug.org<br>Sent: Thu, 05 Oct 2017 19:51:42 -0600 (MDT)<br>Subject: [Discuss] Linux SIG meeting 9:30am this Saturday<br></div><div><br></div><div>For more info see:<br></div><div><br></div><div>https://www.meetup.com/Victoria-Raspberry-PiMakers-And-Others/events/243475326/<br>-- <br>Ron De Beck<br></div><div><br></div></body></html>
