This web presentation about Linux X-terminals is derived from a talk given at the 2002 May 14 VLUG meeting by Carl B. Constantine and me. The presentation consists of an overview of X-terminals corresponding to my part of the talk plus detailed notes about my experiences creating an X-terminal. Carl followed these notes when creating the X-terminal which he demonstrated for his part of the talk.
I strongly urge users of this presentation to refer often to the overview as they study and work through the detailed notes. The details worked for my particular situation but are very much a work in progress because I intend to update them as I gain more X-terminal experience and as I get more user feedback.
