[Discuss] WD Live Network Drive

I have a WD Live Network drive on my system.  Today, I was unable to 
access it from my LINUX computers (all were running LINUX at the time).

I then rebooted one of the computers to Windows. Lo and behold, now I 
have access to the drive from all the rest of the computers running LINUX.

Can anyone explain the reason for this, and if there is a way to access 
it when no Windows machines are running in my Local Area Network?
