[Discuss] malware cleaner for Linux? Any ideas which one and how to use?

I have picked up some malware, which caused my e-mail to crash, among 
other things. Do any of you know of a fairly easily-used 
anti-virus/anti-malware, that an 80 year old clutz could use to clean house?
