[Discuss] malware cleaner for Linux? Any ideas which one and how to use?

That may be a difficult question to answer precisely, but two things 
have happened: a flurry of "Nigerian" pleas for money (but with 
evidently Indian or Bengali surnames) that would not have occurred 
previously (and have not) and the locking up of my E-mail account by 
Shaw, which would imply some suspicious activity in my file. Beyond 
that, and a bit of generally erratic file searching lead me to those 
conclusions.
