[Discuss] Free UPS (sort of)

Hey All,

For those who haven't heard I am moving house. While going through things I
found a APS 725 VA UPS that beeps continuously when turned on. It has been
unplugged in the closet for the past 2 years, so I suspect the battery is
dead.

It is *free* to anyone who doesn't mind poking around with UPSs and
replacing the battery (there's a battery hatch on the bottom). Otherwise it
will go to electronics recycling in the next week or so.
