Hi John:
I have a similar use case. And with regard to non-cloud computers
that our personal, i.e., the traditional PC but also some laptops,
nettops, and even some smart phones), I think there is no doubt that a
massive increase in cloud computing has made the bottom drop out of
the non-cloud market. But I don't think the non-cloud market (and
desktop paradigm) will ever be extinguished by cloud computing since
that paradigm gives away an enormous amount of control of your
computer environment to massive corporations.
