This test result of 5+ days uptime was without a BIOS upgrade.  But
posting that uptime result here obviously jinxed the on-going uptime
experiment because soon after that post, my system locked up!  :-(

There are a few other kernel possibilities (e.g., custom kernels that
are more up-to-date than 4.18.10) I would like to try, and meanwhile I
also plan to use the box hard (e.g., for getting out a long-overdue
PLplot release).  But if those kernel possibilities also don't provide
a solution with 40+ day uptimes, then I do plan (likely in January) to
get my box assembler (Mother Computers) to update the BIOS for me.
