[Discuss] Laptops

Turns out I don't need as much poke as I thought - I had thought my current machine was an i5 with 8GB. I was thinking of my last desktop, the laptop is a 3rd-gen i3 with 4GB.


So, open to cheaper suggestions that previously - although I think the Pinebook would definitely be underpowered and is apparently something one has to wait for...


I would like an SSD though...

Yes, it comes with Windows 10. :-( So the first thing I did was wipe the
harddrive and repartition it.

This store is now selling an open box model for CAD 770, which sounds
like a good deal to me:

The website lists an address in Richmond, BC. I am not familiar with
that business and have never ordered there.
