I was assigned some IPv6 addresses to my VPS and they cause no end of
confusion.
When I type:
ip addr show
I get these:
2607:5300:203:b716::1:2/112
2607:5300:203:b716::1:3/112
2607:5300:203:b716::1:4/112
2607:5300:203:b716::1:5/112
2607:5300:203:b716::1:6/112
To me, it looks similar to:
10.0.0.2/24 (or /28?)
10.0.0.3/24
...
10.0.0.6/24
That is, they appear to have subnets that overlap.
Am I reading this correctly?
I fed them through an online IPv6 subnet calc tool and it seems to agree
with me.
Do I have 5 IPv6 addresses, or are the /112 indicating I have more, like
a total of 65k-ish like the online tool indicated?
