I guess it all comes down to what sort of data you have and how you like
to use it. Personally, if I really need lots of data when traveling I
have the option of taking a 1 TB USB drive (just 3" x 4" x 1/2" and
weighs about 2 oz). I use my free 2G of Dropbox for the odd file I need
in case I loose everything. e.g. I have a file containing encrypted
images of all travel and ID documents. If "push comes to shove" I can
find someone with a "safe" computer to decrypt these assuming I have
also lost my PortableApps usb key.
I am not sure what the odds of being physically robbed of data media
while traveling are compared to being robbed of personal information on
a cloud?
