I never figured out how to turn off the frequent pop-up boxes nagging me
to install an SQL database server to enable Semantic Desktop features;
and applications I might otherwise have used that seemed not to obviously
be part of Semantic Desktop - such as the music player - refused to run
without the rest of Semantic Desktop.
