[Discuss] Linux Mint on iMac PPC from external hard drive

Thanks for the reply, Ray.

I've tried two distros that I think should work on a PPC Mac: Linux Mint 
32-bit and MintPPC 11, based on Debian 7.0 (Wheezy) and Linux Mint LXDE 
11 (Katya). The first creates a HD installation that doesn't work 
properlyand ends in "no screens found" as I've described, while the 
second installer also ends in "no screens found".

  I'd really like to properly install on and run off the external hard 
drive, as I've tried to do, and wonder if there's any way of repairing 
the current HD installation of Linux Mint that I have right now.
