[Discuss] `Smart' TV question.

Hi.  :-)

Noticed the move to Meetup, specifically the Raspberry PiMakers
group, and that reminds me...

Does anyone know what sort of utility Kodi uses to automount
removable media?  I've tried installing a few, but none seem to
work; eventually wrote a script which runs in the background,
checks for new devices every few seconds and mounts them...  It
works, but even so, Kodi only notices partitions that were mounted
*before* it started up, not those that are mounted while it's
running.

In the dedicated Kodi distros I've seen, it does this seamlessly,
but I want to run it alongside a regular desktop environment.

It has no trouble seeing and playing DVDs when they're inserted,
btw, but I don't think it mounts them, just reads directly from
the device [that's how SMPlayer did it].

PS: `Smart TV' is an oxymoron, hence the quotes, but I am
    trying to assemble a reasonably clever idiot-box.  ;-P
