Darren,
I apprecate that the VLUG list still exists! I would like to "speak out"
and say I don't mind the montly reminder that I am subscribed to this list.
Yes, it is one extra email in my inbox, but it is easily ignored.
If you don't want to see the monthly reminder, I am sure you could create a
mail filter that would remove it from your inbox, without impacting those
who don't mind seeing the reminder.
